Founder & Mission Statement

 Who is she:

She is young at Heart! Raised in NYC by her older sister, Doris. Bernice is a proud Latina business owner who loves Pink and enjoys fashion.

What is she about:

The simple things in life make her happy. It's never so much about the price tag, as it is about the value, says Bernice. What does it add to your self-care or self worth, including your mental state that makes a pretty valuable difference. (Emotionally & Mentally)

Her love for pink, heels, dramatic accessories, and makeup is matched only by her commitment to family and community. A mother of two and co-founder of Girls Of Deliverance, Bernice dedicates her free time to family and helping others through mentoring and outreach services.

Dedicated to women and community outreach, Bernice has also been a Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation captain, raising funds for a noble cause.

Where she finds purpose:

Bernice's journey doesn't stop at Pink Is Life. She also owns Marketing Gal Boutique, a marketing agency dedicated to helping small businesses, and Cycle Breakers Outreach Services, a nonprofit organization.

After years of using and wearing other brands' pink lipstick, Bernice decided to get into the fashion and the makeup world, establishing her very own pink lipstick brand. Bernice says she wanted to create something that is fun, pretty and soft.

With a brick-and-mortar boutique in Little Ferry, NJ, Bernice's first product, Guilty Pink Lipstick, was inspired by a mentor who encouraged her to turn her passion into a business.

Her Mission Statement:

Her  mission is to empower and inspire women of all ages through the uplifting power of the color pink. I aim to establish the Pink brand as a symbol of confidence and self-expression, providing beauty products and experiences that enhance women's natural beauty and allow them to express themselves without having to say a word.

Her ultimate goal is to create a community where women feel empowered, beautiful, and confident in their own skin, embracing the transformative effect that the color pink has on their lives.

 How it all begun:

Bernice started out with creating her favorite color pink lip wear, titled Guilty Pink. A vibrant and long-lasting color lip-wear for women that enjoy the color PINK.  “Psychology says, In general, pink is a color that evokes positive feelings related to tenderness, delicacy, childishness, and, in the adult sphere, romantic love, without sexual overtones.”  Thereafter she continued to embrace her passion by creating additional shades of lipstick with a story to tell. Behind every shade of lipstick there is a story.  Visit our story’s page for more ..
